Disaster Resiliency Coordination Project
DISASTERS disrupt hundreds of thousands of lives and businesses each year. These events can be floods, severe winter weather, extended power outage, fire or losing the keys to a critical building, can have lasting effects on communities and businesses.
Being prepared by having a "PLAN" can make the difference in saving lives, saving businesses and decreasing recovery time.
North Country Council has been awarded a $300,000 grant from the US Economic Development Administration to support working with business leaders and local officials to facilitate long-term disaster resiliency and recovery efforts in the North Country. As a part of these efforts North Country Council wil be REACHING OUT to our businesses and local leaders within the region.
